Mission Statement/Purpose

In 2005 CISGA came up with the slogan “RAISING THE BAR” and we intend to keep doing this into the future. It is our goal to bring together steel guitar players and lovers of steel guitar and promote Midwest steel guitar players. We also want to provide a place for lovers of steel guitar, steel guitar players, and manufacturers to get together for the betterment of the instrument. We will also bring top named steel guitar players to some of our shows.

We hope you will support CISGA now and in the future.

Board of Directors

The CISGA board of directors is appointed each July to serve for a year. The board makes the decisions on when and where the shows will be presented throughout the year. They also are responsible for inviting players to these shows. The board solicits membership and advertising to help keep CISGA in operation.
